Milk 2%
2% Macropad powered by an Arduino Pro Micro. Original open-sourced design from https://github.com/Spaceman.
Built 2020-07-01
Here we have something a little more novel. Is it milk? Is it a keyboard? Who knows. All I know is that I had a great time working on getting this kit together.
This was also the largest volume of kits I've processed, approximately 60 units across 2 batches. This time around, I worked closely with a friend who was a great help in 3D printing all the cases and getting them ready to go.
Cutest PCBs you will ever see

The pro-micros were the brains of the entire macropad, and getting them flashed with QMK Firmware was a journey of it's own. Lesson learnt, update your dependencies before troubleshooting for 3 hours. But after we got that sorted out, it was smooth sailing to the end. This project also gave me my first taste of contributing to larger open-sourced projects. The VIA port, and subsequent QMK revision I made for the milk's firmware were successfully merged into the main codebase of both projects. :D

It's like LEGO, but with more swearing involved

These headers were a huge pain to get perfectly straight
The build itself is fairly straightforward, but the logistics of getting all the kits organized was the most time consuming. My room also looked like a small factory for a while.
That's a lot of milk.
